Manila, Philippines — Luxury is becoming less about being noticed and more about knowing the details are there. G-SHOCK captures that shift with the new Luxe Black 2100, a four-piece collection that brings an understated interpretation of modern luxury to its iconic 2100 silhouette.
The collection is now available at G-SHOCK stores and authorized dealers nationwide, as well as through the CASIO G-SHOCK website, Shopee, TikTok, Lazada and Zalora.
Luxe Black reflects the growing appeal of quiet luxury, where refined materials, versatility and longevity are taking precedence over obvious displays of status. The approach also reflects a broader interest in sustainability-minded design, with greater emphasis being placed on products that are made to last.
“More than just an aesthetic, quiet luxury is a mindset, and Luxe Black is G-SHOCK’s answer to it,” said Sena Kuroda, Regional Sales Manager of the Timepieces Division at CASIO South East Asia. “We’re keeping the durability the brand has always been built on, but expressing it through material and finish instead of visual volume. It’s a sign of where G-SHOCK is headed: toughness that can flex with how people actually want to dress, not just one fixed look.”
The collection’s understated character comes through in its details. Matte black dials minimize visual noise, while metallic elements, redesigned hands and indexes provide subtle contrast.
The GM-2100LXB-1A (₱17,010) and GM-2100LXB-1A9 (₱15,710) feature hairline-finished metal bezels with black ion plating. Meanwhile, the GA-2100LXB-1A (₱9,430) and GA-2100LXB-1A9 (₱9,430) use matte-finished octagonal bezels and bands with lightweight resin construction.
The result is a collection that can transition easily between casual and more polished wardrobes without sacrificing the performance associated with G-SHOCK.
All four models feature shock resistance, 20-bar water resistance, stopwatch and timer functions, world time across 48 cities, Hand Shift, double LED Super Illuminator lighting and up to five daily alarms.
The watches also incorporate bio-based resin in key bezel and band components, helping reduce environmental impact while preserving the durability and reliability expected from the brand.
With Luxe Black, G-SHOCK presents a different interpretation of strength—one based not on excess, but on precision, material and lasting design.
