Manila, Philippines — Not every Filipino worker receives a payslip at the end of the month. For gig workers, freelancers, and micro-entrepreneurs, income may come through multiple clients, projects, sales, or transactions. PeraSure is entering the Philippine market with a digital credit platform that does not require traditional proof of income to apply.
Operated by SEC-registered Sulit Lending Corporation, PeraSure officially launched in the Philippines on August 8, offering paperless credit of up to ₱50,000 with repayment terms of 30 to 180 days, depending on the borrower’s credit evaluation.
Applicants need only a valid Philippine mobile number and one valid government-issued ID. Payslips and supporting documents are not required at the application stage.
PeraSure uses automated decisioning and data science to assess identity, ability to repay, and credit risk. Most decisions are delivered in under three minutes, with approved funds disbursed directly to the borrower’s chosen digital wallet in approximately five minutes.
Borrowers who do have proof of income can voluntarily submit it in-app for later credit re-evaluation. Returning borrowers who develop a consistent repayment record may also be reassessed for higher credit limits.
The platform’s pricing is built around a 0.10% daily interest rate calculated against the remaining principal. Including applicable service fees, the total daily rate is 0.25%, or approximately 7.5% a month. The company says its all-in rate is among the lowest disclosed in the local digital lending market.
The rate is also below the applicable regulatory ceiling. SEC Memorandum Circular No. 14, Series of 2025, effective April 1, 2026, caps combined interest and fees on qualifying small loans at 12% a month, or approximately 0.4% a day.
PeraSure shows borrowers the applicable rate, fees, and total repayment amount before they confirm a loan.
The company said the platform is designed around the reality that the absence of physical documentation should not automatically mean the absence of access to formal credit.
PeraSure also uses a revolving credit model. Eligible borrowers can continue drawing from an approved credit line instead of submitting a completely new application for every transaction. The credit line may grow over time as the borrower’s repayment history develops.
The company said it maintains strict privacy and security practices. PeraSure complies with the Credit Information System Act of 2008 (RA 9510), applicable Credit Information Corporation requirements, and the Anti-Money Laundering Act (RA 9160, as amended), in addition to its SEC registration.
PeraSure does not access borrowers’ phone contact lists and does not contact family members, friends, or employers regarding repayment.
The app is now available for download on Google Play.
