Taiwan Expo 2026 brings recognized products across technology, healthcare, lifestyle, food and other industries to Philippine visitors
MANILA, Philippines — From technology and healthcare to food, beauty and lifestyle products, Taiwanese innovation will take on a broader showcase at the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion during Taiwan Expo 2026, which will run from September 17 to 19.
Instead of concentrating on one industry, the pavilion will bring together products from different sectors that have been recognised through the Taiwan Excellence Awards, giving Philippine visitors a chance to discover a range of Taiwanese products in one area.
The awards are organised under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and recognise eligible products following evaluations covering research and development, design, quality and marketing. The selection process is intended to highlight products that demonstrate innovation and strong product standards.
For Philippine consumers, entrepreneurs and businesses, the pavilion provides a look at how Taiwanese companies are developing products for different aspects of work and everyday life.
The Taiwan Excellence showcase will sit alongside Taiwan Expo’s other areas dedicated to intelligent technology, green innovation, agriculture and food, beauty and wellness, healthcare and premium lifestyle.
The wider event is also expected to provide opportunities for businesses interested in bringing Taiwanese products and solutions into the Philippine market. Taiwan Expo 2025 welcomed more than 10,000 visitors and buyers, generating approximately US$53.4 million in business opportunities.
The 2026 edition will further connect Philippine and Taiwanese businesses through its enhanced Business Matching Program, where corporate buyers, retailers, distributors and entrepreneurs can engage with participating Taiwanese enterprises.
The pavilion arrives as Philippine businesses continue to navigate a challenging economic environment. The country’s GDP recorded 2.3 percent year-on-year growth in the second quarter of 2026, while gross capital formation fell 9.2 percent.
Against this backdrop, Taiwan Excellence offers visitors another way to explore products that combine innovation, design and quality across multiple areas—from business technologies to products connected to health, food and lifestyle.
About Taiwan Expo 2026 in the Philippines
Running from September 17 to 19 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Taiwan Expo 2026 will give Philippine visitors a chance to discover products and technologies developed by Taiwanese companies across different aspects of modern living.
The exhibition is organised by the International Trade Administration under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). Its featured areas will cover intelligent technology, green innovation, agriculture and food, beauty and wellness, healthcare and premium lifestyle, offering visitors a broad look at Taiwanese innovations designed for work, home, health and everyday life.
